Reglas sobre los artículo científicos

I. Normas generales

Todos los artículos parte de la Revista Internacional de Derecho, Diplomacia y Economía deben ser escritos en español o inglés, versar sobre temas de interés jurídico o interdisciplinario, y tener la condición de original. 

La revista cuenta con las siguientes categorías o secciones ordinarias, todas arbitradas:

1) Tema central 

2) Miscelánea 

3) Interdisciplinaria 

All articles part of la Revista Internacional de Derecho, Diplomacia y Economía must be written in English or Spanish, be about legal or interdisciplinary subjects, and be original. 

The journal has the following categories, all refereed:

1) Main subject

2) Miscellaneous

3) Interdisciplinary

II. Documentación obligatoria

Todos los artículos presentados a la Revista Internacional de Derecho, Diplomacia y Economía deben tener como adjuntos una declaración de autoría y declaración de autorización de publicación; ambos serán firmados por todos los autores. 

All articles presentados to Revista Internacional de Derecho, Diplomacia y Economía must have an affidavit of authorship and authorization for publication as attachments; both must be signed by all authors. 

III. Características de los artículos

III.1. Primera página

La primera página debe incluir:

• Título: En referencia al título del artículo. Este  puede ser redactado en el idioma español o inglés. Tiene como límite las sesenta (60) palabras. 
• Nombre del autor/es: El nombre de los autores debe aparecer debajo del título del artículo. En el pie de página, deberá constar la filiación institucional, ciudad y país de habitación, profesión, grado académico, e-mail, y el código ORCID de cada autor. 
• Resumen: Es un texto breve en el cual se mencionan las ideas principales del artículo. Su cantidad de palabras debe ser de entre doscientas (200) a cuatrocientas (400). 
• Contenido: El contenido del artículo contará con sumillas de capítulos y subcapítulos. 
• Palabras claves: Las palabras que resuman el artículo deberán ser de entre cinco (5) a ocho (8). 

Si el artículo forma parte de algún trabajo anterior, deberá ser señalado con una cita correspondiente. 

The first page has to include: 

• Title: Meaning the title of the article. It can be written in English or Spanish; it must be under the limit of 60 words.
• Name of the author or authors: The name of the author or authors has to appear under the title of the article. On a footnote, the institutional affiliation, the city and country, the profession, academic degree, e-mail, ORCID code have appear.
• Abstract: This is a short text that mentions the main ideas of the article. It has to be between 200 and 400 words.
• Content: The content of the article  has to record the summary of chapters and sub-chapters that divide the article.
• Key words: The key words that identify the article can be at least 5 or 10 as maximum.

III.2. Cuerpo del texto

El cuerpo de texto debe incluir:

• El texto que desarrolla el tema del artículo, el cual deberá tener entre siete mil (7000) a quince mil (15000) palabras, a un espacio, con letra arial doce (12), en formato A4, con márgenes de tres (3) centímetros. Si no se siguieran algunos de los requisitos mencionados, el autor o los autores deben comunicarlo uno de los editores de la revista.
• Citas a pie de página, escritas a doble espacio en letra arial diez (10), estas deberán ser consignadas según la sexta edición de las normas APA. 
• Los textos deben ser redactados en el programa Word (de edición 2010 para arriba). 
• Los artículos pueden contar con imágenes (con permiso del autor, debidamente citadas y con mínimo de dos), gráficos y tablas con el seguimiento de las normas de edición correspondientes. 
• Las referencias bibliográficas deberán identificarse con las citas hechas en el texto mismo, estas serán ordenadas alfabéticamente. 

The article format has to include:

• The text that develops the article, it must have at least 7000 words, or 15000 as maximum. With size 12, Arial one-spaced lines, A4 format and 3 centimeters margins. If one or many of these requirements are not followed, the author or authors must communicate it to one of the editors of the magazine. 
• The record of footnotes must be written in double-spaced lines, with size 10. Each must be written following the sixth edition of APA style.
• The text must be written in Word (2010 edition or above).
• The articles can include images (with the permission of the respective author, correct references and maximum 2), graphics and tables with the use of editing norms.
• The bibliographic references must be identified with the ones made in the text. All must be organized in alphabetical order 

III.3. Normas sobre referencias bibliográficas

Las referencias bibliográficas hechas en el artículo deben estar de acuerdo las últimas reglas del estilo APA (sexta edición), ser relevantes y necesarias para el desarrollo del artículo. No se admite la omisión de citas  de información obtenida de otras fuentes por incumplir con las normas de la ética académica. 

Por lo señalado, las citas bibliográficas deben ser formuladas en el texto, con indicación entre paréntesis con el nombre de la institución o el apellido del autor, el año de la publicación y las páginas correspondientes, por ejemplo: (Salmón, 1999, p. 230).

Las citas en el texto deben ser identificadas en la lista de referencias al final del document, en tal lista debe aparecer la información completa de cada fuente. 

The bibliographic footnotes made must be in accord to the latest APA style rules, relevant and necessary for the development of the article. The omission of information references obtained by the authors is prohibited, because it does not respect academical ethics.

As indicated, the references must be made in the text; with the name of the institution or last name of the author, the year of the publication and the corresponding pages in parenthesis, for example: (Salmón, 1999, p. 230).

The references made in the text have to identify with the list of references at the end of the document, with complete information for every one.
